Continuing care
Continuing care is arranged for people who are not in hospital but have complex ongoing healthcare needs. You can receive continuing healthcare in any setting you choose:
in your own home – personal care, such as help with bathing, dressing, meal preparation, laundry, etc.
in an adult family home – healthcare and personal care (basic personal needs, such as meals, bathing, going to the toilet, medication, etc.)
Our continuing care system provides our clients with the healthcare, accommodation services and personal care they need to support their independence and promote their quality of life.
Home living: senior care services in your own home
Quality Care AFH can provide professional in-home care services such as nursing and rehabilitation, managing finances, shopping, and personal care services like homemaking, feeding, bathing, dressing or grooming assistance, etc. Home living may be an option for younger adults. This allows seniors to live independently in the comfort of their own home but with basic care and support. Our in-home services offer independence with an increased level of care and support.
Quality Care AFH offers clients a full spectrum of care from independent home living to assisted living and long-term care.
Facility living: accommodations and health services
Facility living combines accommodation services with other types of care. In addition to providing a place to live, our services include meals, housekeeping, social, recreational and educational activities. We also offer rehab services and specialized Alzheimer’s, Dementia care.
Support services
If you look after someone who have an injury, illness or disability, you may need to help them with activities of daily living such as bathing, washing, dressing, moving, handling, etc. It’s very important that you know about safe handling and moving so you don’t hurt your loved one or yourself. If you find that you need some assistance to help a disabled or ill person to bath, use toilet, shower, sit in a chair, get in or out of bed, walk, stand, get in or out of a vehicle or get up from the floor after a fall, you can rely on Quality Care AFH. We specialise in certain types of disability, for example, dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, incontinence, etc. Our caregivers are professionals fully trained to help you deal with any difficulties you may face. Be sure we will provide you and your relatives with whatever level of care and support you require.
